About me
I'm Krysstal, a UX/UI designer and senior studying Human-Centered Computing at RIT. I focus on accessibility-first design, creating clear, intuitive experiences for people often left out.
My work spans research, information architecture, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping. At the core is a simple idea: designing for people facing the most barriers leads to better outcomes for everyone.
I'm currently finishing my degree and looking for UX roles where I can keep building with this approach.

Why accessibility
"The more apps and websites I used, the more I noticed who they leave behind."
It started as a user. I kept running into the same issues: confusing navigation, low-contrast text, and rigid flows. Small on their own, but together they shape who can actually use a product.
That's what pulled me into design. I want to make digital experiences easier to use, so people can get what they need without fighting the interface.
How I work
Start with people who experience the most friction through interviews, surveys, and observation.
Turn insights into structure with clear information architecture and user flows.
Move from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, focusing on both layout and interaction.
Validate with usability testing and accessibility checks, then iterate.
